It’s August, and it feels like the summer is over (although, it barely felt like it all summer).. Even though the weather hasn’t been wonderful, I did have a great time with my family and friends. My cousin Toni from Florida has been here since July 13th and we’ve had the best of time! She met all my friends and became close with them, and we’ve had movie nights and sleepovers, visited family, been to the beach in the pouring rain and much more. And yesterday was the last day I got to spend with her. She slept over at my house, and at 11 o’clock we went to my mom’s work to eat lunch (which obviously was breakfast for me…). I looved the food there, and hopefully I will come back soon! Then we went to the mall, but we didn’t really buy anything except for a milkshake.. Then our momo (aka grandmother) came to pick us up, and we had to say goodbye to Toni, since her dad picked her up later. That was not fun, but the good news is that I’ll see her again in just 2 months!! Gee, I’m so excited. I don’t know if I’ve mentioned this, but we’re going to Florida again this fall. I can’t wait. It must be my #1 favorite place in this world, and I’d do anything to move back there…! We’re leaving Norway October 1st and will stay there for 10 days. + on the 3rd of October we’re going to a concert to see… *drumroll*….. THE KILLERS! Yay, can’t wait for that either!!
oh, and another thing I’m looking forward to in Florida is to meet some of my old friends! You see, I lived in Lakeland when I was 8 and I had a lot of friends, but around two years after I moved back to Norway we all lost touched. But I found my closest friend from FL in Facebook, and we’re planning to meet up. : D
That’s gonna be great, too!
well, oh, wow, I’m just writing like crazy, so I’ll stop now. haha. It’s just really exciting for me. : )

That was it!
I got home just a few days ago (I’ve been a busy bee these days, so no blogging.), and well, I really don’t know what to say : P
I guess I’ve been pretty unlucky. The first day in Venice we didn’t find the cruise boat and we ended up walking around the whole town with our luggage (there were no cars). After finding a boat bus, then walking more, asking people for the way and waiting for a new bus we finally found it. Then we had to wait for almost 2 hours to get onboard. ha, but after that everything went okay. Almost. The third day, I turned into a lobster! Literally, I was RED! I obviously have very sensetive skin, and even though I put on probably 2 bottles of sun screen, it didn’t help. That caused me to not be out in the sun the whole cruise. I had to wear shorts and t-shirts everyday. And I don’t think I used my bathing suit at all!….
And even worse, my skin is now flaking off. Errhh. That was no good. But the rest of the cruise was great! The boat was really pretty, and the food was good. We visited towns such as the Athens, Rhodes, Dubrovnik and Bari. But my favorite was an island in Greece called Argostoli. First we went to town, then we went for a swim in the ocean which was incredible! I didn’t wanna go out of the water. The ocean was blue as the sky, and there were no rocks, just sand! So that was wooonderful .. : ]
We got back home this Tuesday, and my adorable cousin Toni was here! Like I’ve mentioned, she came all alone from Florida last week to stay for a month. We haven’t done much yet, but we have some plans. Like this Monday we’re going to watch Ice Age 3 in 3D! hah. I really want to watch it, and the fact that it’s in 3D makes me want to watch it even more!

So, there’s still almost a month left of the summer vacation, and I hope the weather will get a bit better (it’s been raaaaining here…) so that we can be outside and experience SUMMER. By the way, how’s summer ?? :]

heyheyhey!!
wow. It’s been long! I feel really bad for not blogging for eh… two weeks? I’ve been thinking about it everynight like “i’m gonna do it tomorrow”, but it hasn’t really helped. So I thought I’d finally do it now.
As you probably know, it’s still summer vacation and I’m enjoying every minute of it!! So far, I’ve been doing a lot of different things like going to the movies, going to the beach, shopping, cleaned my room, been with my family, babysitting, been out with our boat and more. The weather here in Norway has been AMAZING. There’s been sunshine every day, and so hot! We’ve been waiting for a summer like this for soo long, and we finally got it! I just hope it’ll last!
So, I have more plans for this summer, of course. On Sunday, the 12th of July, me, my dad, my step sister and step mother will be going on a cruise! We’ll fly to Venice, Italy and stay there for a day, then we’ll be going on the cruise from there. The cruise will stop by other cities in Italy, and some in Croatia, Greece and Turkey, aswell. I’m really excited! And wait… it doesn’t stop there! When I get home, my dear cousin TONI has come all the way from Florida! She’s 10, and she’s travelling all alone. (I would never do that! Especially not if I was 10!) I haven’t seen her in a year and half, so that will be great! She’s staying for 3 weeks, although I will be on that cruise the first week.. But that’s ok.

Yup, there you got it. So, I’m babysitting this 7-year-old boy. I have never met him before, and I only said Hi to him before he went to bed. So I’m just sitting here doing nothing – and getting paid for it! I don’t have any plans for tomorrow, either. I hope I feel better, cause my throat is killing me!!

I’m leaving tomorrow morning, so I just wanted to say goodbye to everybody first. Me, my mom, my sister and my grandmother are going to visit some friends in Mandal, which is in South Norway. I’m really looking forward to it, cause I LOOOVE it there. It’s like some personal hotel, cause everything is just so luxurious. haha:)
But, yeah. GOODBYE!

Today has been a good day. I started it off with sleeping till 08.00. Our class were going to our town’s museum, so we didn’t have to meet very early. We went to the museum, which was OK. Then we had two hours to do whatever we wanted. Me and my friends went around town, looking at clothes and ate at a café. Then we had to go back to school, and we got some messages for our day tommorow (which also will be in town).
Then my mom picked me up at school, and we went back to town to go shopping! I needed lots of new clothes (shorts, jeans, t-shirts, swimsuit, jackets+). I looked around in all of the stores, but unfortunately none of them had a swimsuit that I wanted. I found one on H&M, but they didn’t have the right size. So, I went to Gina Tricot (one of my favorite stores). They, of course, had a lot of cool clothes, but no swimsuits. I ended up buying a pair of jeans and a t-shirt. Guess what I did this week! ……….. I went on a loong walk to Preikestolen (The Pulpit Rock in English)! Some of you might not know where/what that is, but it’s a very unique mountain about an hour away from where I live. Me, my dad, my two step sisters and my step mom + our dog went. It took us about 3 hours to walk up to the top. And I do not like walking, but I didn’t mind it this time, actually. And when I was on top of it, I actually layed down and stuck my head out to see the view (I was laying down where the red arrow is in the picture under). I never thought I’d do that, but I don’t think it was scary at all. I took a lot of pictures from where I was laying down, but unfortunately but camera is broken, so I can’t tranfer them or use them in any way 
SOO.. It took us about two more hours to get back down. Then I had an ice cream and went back home.
I’ve ben to Preikestolen once before with my mom, about three or four years ago, aswell. I didn’t remember that, though. haha. Do YOU like walking??
and guess what… I got a 6 on my English mock exam!!! I did not expect it at all, and I am so thrilled. YAYYAYAY.. Hhaha.
And I have to say I am really really really really really really really (x10000) sorry for not blogging for so long! I’ve been busy busy busy busy busy (x10000) these last few days. Can’t wait till summer!
